We were supplied with a script and tasked with storyboarding, creature design and the production of the advert. Emphasis was placed on creating a minimalist environment to allow the performance of the animals to carry the weight of the narrative. The animals needed to have a stylised realism to them, not too cartoony as to make them a bit of a joke, but not so photoreal as to make them devoid of any of those anthropomorphic traits that enable the viewer to connect with them.
