The Solution
Due to the size and diversity of Cheshire West & Chester with it’s hard to reach rural locations, along with the local lockdowns and restrictions, we needed a campaign that could evolve and be agile enough to adapt to whichever Tier the Borough would enter into, we conceived a phased approach to our reopening campaign with the following messaging and hashtag to restore the confidence and raise footfall back to the high street and businesses of the region:
Calmly – conveying supportive messages
Warmly – conveying welcome messages
Carefully – conveying safety
We also discovered that due to the pandemic, shopping habits had changed drastically so we
created a ‘What kind of shopper are you?’ platform that highlighted relevant shopping experiences tailored to each shopper – through opening hours, special offers, online and click ‘n collect services that showcased the retail offering from the Borough’s multiple high streets.
