About Evana

Evana is dedicated to providing an effective, over-the-counter treatment for managing heavy periods, a common yet often disruptive issue for many individuals.

Evana is an accessible medication containing tranexamic acid, empowering those aged 18 to 45 to help navigate their monthly cycle with greater ease and confidence, and improve their quality of life during their period.

The Challenge

With the health & wellness industry being such a competitive digital space, the search volumes for healthcare related queries can be high. Search results for these vital terms are frequently dominated by high-authority websites, such as the NHS or Mayo Clinic, making it difficult for a challenger to gain visibility.

We needed to devise a content strategy for Evana to gain visibility for these terms and compete with established, high-authority competitors.

Our approach

We began our strategy with a thorough competitor and content analysis. This allowed us to pinpoint content gaps among high-authority competitors, revealing relevant, low-competition areas where Evana could thrive. We strategically focused on 89 SEO keywords, and an additional 80 long-tail queries that we determined would maximise Evana’s search visibility.

Based on this analysis, we created a series of user focused content (UFC) articles designed to directly address these identified queries. Our priority was to produce high-quality content that adheres to EEAT principles, with the aim of providing valuable information and genuine answers to user search queries.

The content we produced was educational, positioning Evana as a leader in their field and establishing trust with their target audience.

The results

Within the first 12 months of our partnership, we delivered exceptional results for Evana, considerably exceeding expectations:

  • 33 organically ranking targeted UFC queries
  • 40% of ranking queries appear in AI Overviews
  • 33% of targeted SEO keywords are cited within AI Overviews where they are available
  • All targeted keywords for UFC queries ranking page 3 and above appear in available
